Gold Coast

Gold Coast is a very popular location for international and domestic tourists, and it’s no wonder with the array of attractions and events you can visit.

The Gold Coast is a great place to visit all year round, but the best time to visit in my opinion would have to be summer as you can visit the array of theme parks and beaches scattered throughout the city.

As well as the theme parks and beaches you can choose from a selection of other activities such as native animal encounters, cultural experiences, food and wine tours, art and culture, nightlife or just plain fun and adrenalin experiences such as bungee jumping, parasailing and water skiing.

The Gold Coast is also home to the famous Surfers Paradise. Surfers Paradise hosts a fantastic nightlife with all the nightclubs pretty much located down one street. Surfers Paradise also has some great beaches, skyscrapers, cafes and restaurants and heaps of accommodation.

Highlights of my trip to the Gold Coast were all the theme parks including: Dreamworld, Movie World, Wet ‘n’ Wild and Sea World. I also enjoyed visiting Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary.

I also loved spending a day in Mount Tamborine in the Gold Coast Hinterland; it is a beautiful drive and when you reach the top there is some fantastic views. Other things that are also worth doing if you are visiting the Gold Coast is to take a jet boat ride and go on a nightclub crawl and experience the famous Surfers Paradise nightlife.
