Brisbane

Brisbane is the capital of Queensland. It is a stunning and lively city that is home to many different types of scenery, including skyscrapers, parkland and even an artificial beach. Brisbane is a great place to visit and there is so much to see and do just in the city.

I really enjoyed participating in a Brisbane City Tour, I got to see all the highlights of Brisbane in one morning including the Kangaroo Point Cliffs, South Bank and Brisbane’s Story Bridge. After visiting South Bank on the tour I had to go back as I loved its relaxed parkland, the man-made beach and the Friday night markets (also held on Saturday and Sunday).

Another highlight of my trip to Brisbane was a Brisbane River Cruise with lunch, the views from the Brisbane River of the city were amazing and the food was delicious.

If you love to go out, in evening, you must visit Fortitude Valley. Fortitude Valley is home to many bars, restaurants and nightclubs. Brisbane City is also a great place to visit for a night out as it is also home to some great bars and the casino.

I love to shop, so Queen Street Mall and Brunswick Mall in the city was a girls dream with over 1200 different shops. Brisbane is also a great place to visit if you are into the arts or creative industry as Brisbane has a number of Theatres including the Lyric Theatre, Cremorne Theatre and the Playhouse Theatre which are part of the Queensland Performing Arts Centre.
