This was the Gold Coast Shows 105th year. The show had all kinds of family entertainment and various competitions along with the usually popular Show Bags, Face Painting, Fair Rides and side shows and so many other activities.
For animal lovers it certainly offered plenty of choice including the Animal Nursery & Poultry sections, a Dog Show, Goat Competitions, Camel Rides, Show Jumping and many more animal orientated activities and great opportunities to get up close with animals, especially for kids.
Everything from home craft displays, model railways to baking competitions, plus local schools put on displays such as garden displays. For Motorsport fans there was a Motorsport display with vehicles from Speedway, Drag strip, Circuit and some Classic racers, plus one could test their driving skills on the Driving Simulators.
